THE WORLD OF POCKET MONEY ADVENTURES

Welcome to Silverton.
A whole world to explore.

Meet the city behind Ava’s story. A place for conversations about wanting, waiting and choosing.

Meet the people of Silverton

Stories with characters.
Choices worth talking about.

Ava

Book 1 and Book 2

Ava

The fastest runner in Silverton, with plenty of things she wants. Her choices are at the heart of the stories.

Wanting isn’t wrong. Pause, then choose.

Louis

Book 1 and Book 2

Louis

Ava’s brother, ready to lend a hand at the car wash.

Earning, helping and sharing because you choose to.

Walbot

Book 1 and Book 2

Walbot

The small robot guide who tells the story and helps keep count of Ava’s coins.

A friendly guide through stories and play.

Meet the rest of the town
Mum

Book 1 and Book 2

Mum

She shows Ava the trick before Ava tries it. Her rule is printed on the back of Book 1.

Save some, spend some, share some if you can.

Zion

Book 1 and Book 2

Zion

The lion with the Super Speed Trainers. There is more to a race than the shoes you wear.

A chance to think about wanting and fitting in.

Ollie

Book 1 and Book 2

Ollie

Runs the shoe shop where the Super Speeds sit in the window, right where every runner can see them.

Shops are good at making us want things. That's fine. We still get to pause.

Mr Mean

Book 1

Mr Mean

Runs the car wash where Ava earns her coins.

A story setting for talking about earning.

Bennie

New in Book 2

Bennie

A budgie with a saving plan. Meet him in Book 2, which is in production.

Small steps towards something that matters.

Barry

New in Book 2

Barry

Bennie’s dad, with a little encouragement for a long saving plan.

A grown-up can help you think it through.

The Referee

New in Book 2

The Referee

Keeping an eye on the finish line in the next Silverton story.

A new story and more choices ahead.
